If possible attend these events and get free disability related products and support. Some companies will even fix your wheelchair up for free at these events. A great one is Permobil, at the last Abilities Expo I went to they put new tires on my chair, new headrest upholstry, new arm piece and lots of other little fixes. It was fantastic and what a cost saver. Free! They were so kind and nice that it really makes me want another Permobil wheelchair.

So if you are looking for information make sure to attend a conference. Drug companies are also big givers. I attended an Multiple Sclersosis conference and they even sent us all to Sea World and fed us for free. Not only did the conference offer information on Multiple Sclerosis but it also gave me lots of great contacts.
